Montreal’s Red Light District attracted people on both sides of the law who could exploit flexible definitions of morality and justice. However, prostitution was not limited to the intersection of Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Sainte-Catherine Street. This lecture will take place in a building that housed one of Mile End’s brothels in the 1920s.
