1. WALKING TOUR: WESTERN MILE END

Discover the rich history of Western Mile End (between Hutchison Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard), including the 19th-century agricultural and industrial exhibition grounds and early 20th-century rowhousing, mixed-use buildings and places or worship, as well as the many personalities and cultural communities who helped to shape this unique urban vernacular landscape over time.

2. MILE END MEMORIES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Wednesday 18 May 2011 at 6:00 p.m.
At Al-Boutik, 148 Fairmount Street West, Montréal
During the AGM, a summary of activities carried out in 2010 and the action plan for 2011 will be presented and the election of Board of directors will take place. A snack of Sahara delicacies will be served. All those on MEM’s mailing liste are invited to attend the AGM and become members of MEM without charge. The agenda and the minutes of the meeting will be available on the website (www.mile-end.qc.ca) and upon request.
