Kevin Cohalan, of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’histoire du Plateau Mont-Royal, will give a lavishly illustrated presentation on the symbols used in Mile End churches, with a focus on the Church of the Ascension. Sleeping soldiers, Greek letters, knights in shining armour, lambs\u2014he will unlock the codes that were clear to church-goers of the past but almost forgotten today! Presentation in French, bilingual question period.<\/p>\n
