On Friday 20 September 2019,\u00a0Drawn & Quarterly bookstore<\/a>\u00a0hosted the launch of Mile End Portraits<\/em>,\u00a0an illustrated book coauthored by Mile End Memories with two local artists,\u00a0Michel Hellman<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pascal Girard<\/a>. The book originated with our 15th anniversary celebration held on 22 November 2018 at the\u00a0Rialto Theatre<\/a>. We think it will interest both residents of this very special neighbourhood and anyone who would like to get to know Mile End better. The book is available at Drawn & Quarterly bookstore as well as during our activities<\/a>. We thank the bookstore for hosting the launch \u2013 which you can also read about on the bookstore’s\u00a0blog<\/a>. Here are a few photos of the evening, taken by Maxence Bilodeau.<\/p>\n
