Discover the rich history of Eastern Mile End (between Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Berri Street, Mount Royal Avenue and Boucher Street). We will explore the eclectic architecture and the urban, cultural and social development of the past century and a half. Among the highlights of this tour are the Church of Saint-Enfant-J\u00e9sus and several religious and educational institutions near the heart of the former village of Saint-Louis du Mile-End, the Carmelite Convent, row housing dating to the late 19th century, the early 20th century and the last 15 years, as well as the industrial past of the area.<\/p>\n

Bonus on Sunday,\u00a0Journ\u00e9e des \u00e9glises ouvertes<\/a><\/em>: Kevin Cohalan of the\u00a0Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’histoire et de g\u00e9n\u00e9alogie du Plateau Mont-Royal<\/a> will meet us to speak of the history of Saint-Enfant-J\u00e9sus church.<\/p>\n
