Mile End Memories** invites you to two activities on Sunday 7 February 2010:

1. LECTURE

The Mile End Library: A Successful Transformation of a Heritage Church
Jean-Paul Simard, horticulture and heritage expert

Constructed in 1904, this building was the home of the Ascension Church for almost nine decades. In 1993, it was transformed into a branch of Montreal Municipal Library in a manner that respects its heritage values, and it continues to serve the community to this day.

Mile End Library, 5434 Park Avenue, just south of Saint-Viateur Street (bus 80)

2. MILE END MEMORIES FOUNDATION GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Mile End Memories** has organized about ten activities per year since 2003. This Foundation General Assembly will include a presentation on the activities of the last seven years, the action plan for 2010 and the election of board members. Everybody is welcome!
