Family archives: their contributions to history and challenges of conservation

This presentation will be given by historian Andrée Lévesque, member of the group Archives Passe-Mémoire. She will talk about the importance and richness of written documents that are a testimony to the everyday life of ordinary people and how they contribute to understanding our history. She will also present some of the challenges related to their conservation, particularly during this era of Communications 2.0.
The presentation will be in French, with a bilingual Q&A period afterward.
