Surprising Gardens of Mile End 2

Walking tour led by Joshua Wolfe and Michèle Pontbriand

jardin-jps

Once again, Mile End Memories invites you to discover some of the neighbourhood’s special gardens. From an oasis sprouting on a cement pad, to a garden on the site of an old horse stable, from a fictive garden to one for honey bees, you will be astonished by the horticultural uses of your neighbours’ yards and you will be delighted by their inventiveness and skill. Other surprises will be revealed along the way.

The tour will end with a brief, illustrated presentation of the Carmelite Convent Garden (since we can’t enter the garden itself).
