Mile End Memories will celebrate its 15th anniversary, Thursday, November 22, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm. The event will be held at Rialto Hall, 5711 Park Avenue. We will take this opportunity to highlight the restoration of the Rialto Theatre, a jewel of Montréal heritage and a key venue of the Mile End cultural scene.
Come listen to Marie Plourde, Mile End borough councilor and host of the evening; Dinu Bumbaru, Heritage Montréal Policy Director; D. Kimm, artistic and managing director of the company Les filles électriques; Ruba Ghazal, MNA for Mercier; Richard Ryan, Mile End city councilor; and Justin Bur, of Mile End Memories. The author of the graphic novel Mile End, Michel Hellman, will be on hand to sketch the proceedings.
